The good, the bad, the Spock. It was all there, with an episode that was good but not great, especially by the show’s increasingly excellent standards.

In short: “Fringe” has gone from “competent” to “one of the five best shows on TV” over the course of its first season, but tonight’s episode didn’t quite live up to some of the highs of this past year.
